Salary: £56,316.00 - £62,202.00 FTE

The Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust is a multi-academy trust formed by the Diocese of Lincoln in 2013. We are a growing and thriving family of schools dedicated to providing an excellent education for pupils across Lincolnshire. We have grown to serve twenty-three academies across three local authorities of Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, and North-East Lincolnshire.

Deputy Headteacher – The Role:

Following the most recent Ofsted Inspection in April 2025, we are seeking to increase leadership capacity within St. Peter’s and appoint a forward-thinking, dynamic, and talented Deputy Headteacher from January 2026 or sooner.

At St. Peter's, you will play an instrumental role in ensuring the school is an environment where both pupils and staff thrive every day. We are looking for outstanding candidates, with a proven track record of leadership, who are eager to develop themselves while supporting the educational vision of both the school and the trust. Your strong leadership and effective support will be crucial in ensuring that everyone at St. Peter's meets their full potential.

Deputy Headteacher – Responsibilities:

- To be a member of the Senior Leadership Team and to give leadership and management in the school with respect to the realisation of it’s aims and objectives, the formulation and implementation of policy and the establishment of a pupil centered ethos

- To develop and implement a rich Academy curriculum that has breadth, depth and balance whilst taking into account our local context and gaps in learning

- To secure high quality teaching and learning that allows pupils to build their knowledge and to apply that knowledge as skills

- Develop systems to measure outcomes that pupils achieve as a result of teaching and learning, ensuring they are fully implemented across the academy

Deputy Headteacher – You:

- Qualified Teacher Status with a successful NQT year completed

- Evidence of continuing professional development

- Significant experience of curriculum leadership with sustained record of subject improvement

- Evidence of leading a curriculum development through to implementation

- Evidence of successfully leading and sustaining educational initiative

- Evidence of effective appointment and personnel management
