Sociology Teacher

Location: Richmond

A thought-provoking opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Sociology Teacher to join an intellectually curious secondary school in Richmond. The successful candidate will guide students in exploring the complexities of human society, fostering critical thinking about social structures, inequalities, and cultural phenomena. The Role

The Sociology Teacher will:

* Deliver engaging and relevant Sociology lessons across Key Stage 5 (A-Level Sociology).

* Cultivate students' abilities to analyse social theories, research methods, and contemporary social issues.

* Foster a deep understanding of social concepts, such as socialisation, crime, education, and family.

* Contribute to departmental activities, including debates and discussions on current affairs.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a qualified Sociology Teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) who:

* Possesses a strong academic background in Sociology and a passion for the subject.

* Is skilled at communicating complex sociological concepts clearly and engagingly.
