Location: Richmond

A creative opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Art Teacher to join an arts-focused secondary school in Richmond. The successful candidate will inspire students to explore diverse artistic forms, develop their creative skills, and cultivate critical thinking through visual expression. This role is ideal for an educator passionate about fostering creativity and cultural appreciation.

The Role

The Art Teacher will:

* Deliver engaging and practical Art lessons across Key Stages 3-5, including GCSE and A-Level.

* Develop students' drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed-media skills.

* Organise and contribute to school exhibitions, workshops, and visits to galleries.

* Foster a supportive and expressive environment where students feel confident taking creative risks.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a qualified Art Teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) who:

* Possesses strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Art history and contemporary practice.

* Is highly creative, enthusiastic, and able to inspire students of all abilities.

* Demonstrates excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

* Is a collaborative team player, eager to contribute to the school's vibrant arts scene.
