KS3 Maths Coordinator

Location: Hillingdon

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated KS3 Maths Coordinator to join a thriving secondary school in Hillingdon. This role is perfect for an ambitious Maths teacher looking to take the next step in their leadership journey, supporting the Head of Maths in driving academic excellence and fostering a dynamic learning environment for Key Stage 3 students.

The Role

The KS3 Maths Coordinator will:

* Oversee the curriculum planning, development, and assessment for Mathematics at Key Stage 3.

* Support and mentor colleagues teaching Maths at KS3.

* Contribute to monitoring and evaluating teaching and learning across the KS3 Maths curriculum.

* Lead initiatives to promote engagement and confidence in Maths among younger students.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a passionate Maths teacher with QTS/QTLS who:

* Possesses strong subject knowledge and a proven track record of effective teaching at Key Stage 3.

* Demonstrates leadership potential, strong organisational skills, and a proactive approach.

* Is committed to fostering a strong foundation in Maths for all students.

* Is an excellent communicator and a collaborative team player.
