Location: Hillingdon

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational Head of Maths to lead a high-achieving department at a thriving secondary school in Hillingdon. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader to drive academic excellence, foster a culture of mathematical reasoning, and ensure outstanding progress for all students in Mathematics.

The Role

The Head of Maths will:

* Provide strategic leadership and management for the entire Maths department.

* Oversee curriculum design, assessment, and the quality of teaching and learning across KS3-5.

* Lead, motivate, and develop a team of highly skilled Maths teachers.

* Manage departmental resources and budget effectively.

* Promote numeracy across the school and foster a love of problem-solving.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an exceptional Maths teacher with QTS/QTLS and proven leadership experience who:

* Possesses an outstanding track record of improving student outcomes in Mathematics.

* Demonstrates strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.

* Is passionate about fostering mathematical fluency and logical reasoning.

* Is innovative, data-driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
