Location: Ealing

A stimulating opportunity has arisen for a committed History Teacher to join an intellectually curious school in Ealing. The successful candidate will bring historical events to life, encouraging students to develop a sophisticated critical understanding of past societies and their impact on the present. This role is ideal for an educator who can inspire analytical thinking and a nuanced perspective on historical narratives.

The Role

The History Teacher will:

* Deliver engaging and relevant lessons across Key Stages 3-5, covering diverse historical periods and themes, including GCSE and A-Level.

* Cultivate students' abilities to analyse primary and secondary sources and construct reasoned historical arguments.

* Foster a deep understanding of historical causation, consequence, and continuity.

* Contribute to departmental initiatives, including historical debates and educational visits.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a qualified History Teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) who:

* Possesses a strong passion for history and its relevance to contemporary issues.

* Is skilled at communicating complex historical concepts clearly and engagingly.

* Demonstrates a proven ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
