Food Teacher - Halstead

Are you passionate about food, nutrition, and inspiring the next generation of young chefs? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Food Teacher to join our dedicated team at a thriving secondary school located in the Halstead area.

Position: Food Teacher
Location: Halstead, Essex
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (flexible for the right candidate)
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available)
Salary: MPS/UPS - dependent on experience

About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical Food & Nutrition lessons across KS3 and KS4. The ideal candidate will have a flair for teaching, strong subject knowledge, and a desire to help students develop life skills that promote healthy, informed living.

What Were Looking For:
· A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a specialism in Food, Catering, or Hospitality.
· Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
· A creative approach to curriculum delivery that inspires students.
· Strong classroom management and communication skills.
· A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
