Inspire historical curiosity in an outstanding school - History ECT role in Barking!

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic History ECT to join our outstanding school in Barking. You will inspire students to explore the past, develop their understanding of historical events and figures, and foster a lifelong love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging and challenging History lessons across Key Stages 3-4.

* Prepare students for GCSE examinations.

* Create a stimulating and reflective learning environment.

* Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including discussions and debates.

* Contribute to the development of the History curriculum.

* Participate in departmental meetings and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
