Lead Practitioner of Maths

Location: Westminster

A rare opportunity exists for an inspirational Lead Practitioner of Mathematics to join a progressive secondary school in Westminster. This key leadership role involves championing excellence in maths education, mentoring staff, and enhancing teaching and learning across all key stages. The successful candidate will be a catalyst for innovation and student achievement in mathematical fluency and problem-solving.

The Role

The Lead Practitioner of Maths will:

* Drive curriculum development and foster innovative teaching approaches within the Maths department.

* Provide expert guidance, training, and coaching to Maths teachers at all career stages.

* Model exemplary teaching practices in the classroom.

* Contribute to whole-school CPD and strategic planning for numeracy.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an outstanding Maths teacher with QTS/QTLS who:

* Has a demonstrable history of significantly improving student outcomes in Mathematics.

* Possesses exceptional leadership, coaching, and communication skills.

* Is passionate about fostering mathematical fluency and logical reasoning.

* Is committed to staying abreast of the latest educational research and best practices in maths pedagogy.
