This is your chance to bring your creativity, leadership, and motivational skills into a nurturing school environment. As a SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), your responsibilities will include:

Supporting children with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH, through engaging and structured activities.
Using your activity instructor experience to promote positive behaviour, teamwork, and confidence.
Assisting with personalised learning plans and sensory regulation strategies.
Creating a safe, stimulating environment that encourages participation and emotional growth.
Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to deliver holistic support in the classroom.
To be considered for this role, you will:

Have a background as an Activity Instructor, Youth Worker, or similar role.
Be confident working with children with additional and complex needs.
Bring energy, creativity, and a calm, supportive approach to every day.
Be adaptable, proactive, and able to follow guidance while using your initiative.
Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service.

Training and ongoing support to help you transition into education.
A dedicated consultant to guide you through the recruitment process.
Opportunities to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks; including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
