Assistant Support Worker - Cressex Road

We currently have a part time (30 hours) Assistant Support Worker position at our supported housing scheme, Cressex Road, in High Wycombe.

This a shared supported living house, home to six people aged between 34 and 91 years of age who each have their own en-suite room. The service users attend a range of day services and community opportunities 3 to 5 days a week.

What You will Do:

As an Assistant Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live as independently as possible. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Supporting with personal care in a dignified and respectful way
Aid with the daily administration of medication
Encouraging life skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and budgeting
Organise trips to local amenities
Promoting independence and helping residents achieve their personal goalsAs an Assistant Support Worker you will;

Provide appropriate support to service users who are living in their own homes or in a supported housing setting to enable them to support their aspirations and maximise their independence.
Provide personal care but your role will also involve promoting life skills such as shopping, managing budgets and supporting with domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
Build long lasting support relationships with people who will benefit from you "being the difference".

£19,656 pa for a 30 hour a week contract (£12.60 per hour)
