Role: Production Operatives
Location: Hitchin, Hertfordshire
Type: Temporary Position (With opportunity of going permanent for the right candidate)
Pay Rate: £12.21 Per Hour
Shift Patterns: 06:00-15:00 /08:00-17:00 /11:00-20:00/13:00-22:00
Monday to Friday
Weekend Availability

Jark Stevenage are currently looking to recruit Production Operatives for a food manufacturing company based in Hitchin. Hertfordshire.

Key Responsibility:
• To Manufacture a range of products, working on the production line, for example weighting out ingredients, cold pressing ingredients in to bars and covering them in edible coating
• Follow quality control standards, ensuring goods leaving in high standards
• Cleaning food production and fulfilment area to high standard
• Adhere to health and safety, and food safety policy and procedures
• Follow a set packing and production procedures
• Report low stock issues daily to management
• Ensure all production, picking and packing is completed in a timely manner

Skills and experience:
• Experience of working in a food production environment is desirable
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail
• Problem solving and time management skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced, cross functional environment
• Comfortable working with different systems and juggling multiple task
• Basic Computer work
