BLACKPOOL

£162 - £223

Vida Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Design Technology Teacher for a long term, full time cover starting in September 25.

Working in a 'good' secondary school, you will take on the full time teaching responisbilites, delivering engaging lessons across, and contributing to a supportive and collaborative department.

Previous experience teaching Resistant Materials and Construction are essential for this role. 

Design Technology Teacher Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality Technology lessons in line with the national curriculum, focusing on Resistant Materials and Construction

Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback

Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development

Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development

Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and student engagement

Design Technology Teacher Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching Technology at secondary level

Strong classroom management skills

Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
