KS3/4 MATHEMATICS TEACHER

JUNE 2025 START

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Mathematics Teacher for a long term role, starting June 2025. You will be responsible for teaching Mathematics, both to KS3 and KS4. This post is expected to finish at the end of the academic year, however, may be extended to Christmas 2025.

The school has recently appointed a new Headteacher and there have been positive changes implemented across the school. The Maths department, although fairly small, is a welcoming department with a long-standing Head of Faculty in situ.

The position is open to NQT's/ECT's and more experienced colleagues. You will be paid to scale from day one of this assignment and we are available to discuss this role with teaching professionals as soon as possible.

Hours 8:30 am 3.30pm (including parents evenings, meetings, and duties in line with a teacher etc)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Mathematics Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher
- UK Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role
- Previous experience working in a UK school
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
