A respected and award-winning multi-disciplinary practice is seeking a talented Senior Architectural Technician to join its growing team based in Corsham. With a broad portfolio spanning healthcare, education, commercial, and high-end residential sectors, this firm delivers innovative and cost-effective design solutions across the Southwest.
As a Senior Architectural Technician, you'll play a key role in bringing architectural visions to life-transforming concepts into fully detailed technical packages and supporting projects from design to completion.
Your Responsibilities:
. Produce detailed technical and construction drawings to support architectural projects
. Work collaboratively with Architects, Project Managers, and other consultants
. Ensure all work complies with current UK building regulations and technical standards
. Contribute to project delivery across all RIBA stages, with a strong focus on Stage 4
. Assist in BIM coordination and drawing production using CAD software (Vectorworks preferred)
What We're Looking For:
. 4+ years of professional experience within architecture or construction
. Proficiency in architectural technology, technical drawing, and construction detailing
. Skilled in BIM and CAD software-Vectorworks experience is a plus
. A methodical, detail-oriented approach and strong problem-solving skills
. Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
. A degree in Architectural Technology, Architecture, or equivalent experience
