The Role – 1:1 Year 2 Teaching Assistant

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with a Year 2 pupil who requires additional support to access the curriculum and manage their emotions. The child has some social, emotional and behavioural needs, so you’ll be providing consistent encouragement, setting clear boundaries, and helping them develop focus and independence. You will work alongside the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to ensure the pupil is supported holistically.
