We are seeking a dedicated and passionate EYFS/ Year 1 Teacher for a high-achieving 2-form entry school in Newham, starting after the September 2025. This role is full-time. Interviews will be held as soon as possible.

EYFS Teacher Responsibilities

* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework.

* Provide a stimulating and supportive learning environment that promotes curiosity, exploration, and independence.

* Monitor and assess children's progress, using observations to inform planning and next steps.

* Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports social, emotional, and cognitive development.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive Early Years/KS1 curriculum.

* Communicate with parents and guardians regularly, providing updates on children's progress and development.

* Participate in school meetings, professional development opportunities, and school activities as required.

EYFS Teacher Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Previous experience teaching in Early Years, particularly in a Reception class.

* Strong knowledge of the EYFS/KS1 framework and best practices in early childhood education.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to adapt teaching to meet the diverse learning needs of young children.

* A team-oriented approach and flexibility to work collaboratively.

* Commitment to continuous professional development in Early Years education.
