Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons tailored to KS1 students.

* Foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love for learning.

* Support early literacy and numeracy skills through creative and structured teaching methods.

* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as needed.

* Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure every child receives the best possible education.

* Participate in staff meetings, school activities, and professional development opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Experience in Key Stage 1, particularly in Year 1, is desirable.

* A strong understanding of phonics and early years development.

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

* A creative and adaptable teaching approach that meets the diverse needs of young learners.

* Passion for supporting children’s personal and academic growth in their early years of education.
