We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 Teacher for a wonderful 2-form entry school in Waltham Forest, starting in September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position. Interviews will be held as soon as possible.

KS1 Teacher Role

KS1 Teacher Responsibilities

* Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic and engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to enjoy learning.

* Assess and track student progress, providing regular feedback and setting clear targets for development.

* Foster the development of critical thinking skills, independence, and creativity.

* Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to deliver a cohesive and effective curriculum.

* Build strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child’s progress and well-being.

* Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school activities as required.

KS1 Teacher Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (preferably Year 2).

* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods.

* Passion for creating an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* A flexible, team-oriented approach to teaching.

* Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining high standards of teaching.
