Job Title: Science Teacher (KS3 & KS4) – Biology, Chemistry & Physics
Location: Telford, Shropshire
Contract Type: Full-Time (Full Academic Year)
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience (MPS/UPS)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Telford. This full-time role is for the entire academic year, teaching Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, helping students to develop a strong understanding and appreciation of the sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the science curriculum (KS3 & KS4)

* Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment

* Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted support where needed

* Contribute to the wider school community and attend relevant meetings and events

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the science curriculum and best teaching practices

* Uphold the school's ethos and high standards of behaviour and academic achievement

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4

* Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

* Excellent classroom management skills

* A passion for science education and inspiring young learners

* A commitment to professional development and collaborative working
