Carbon60 are currently looking for a Technical Shop Floor Support to join their client on a contract basis based in Broughton. This is a long term contract role, working a shift pattern of double days. Due to the 2 week shift rotation there is a 20% uplift on hourly rates.

As the Technical Shop Floor Support, you will play a crucial role in identifying, analyzing, and resolving technical issues on the shop floor. Collaborating closely with the production team and Autonomous Production Team (APT), you will provide an end-to-end perspective, contributing to the continuous improvement of operational processes and the achievement of Operational Excellence targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the identification and resolution of non-conformities and production issues
- Assist in the creation of technical documentation, such as Design Query Notes and Concessions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of industrial systems and processes
- Facilitate the request and specification of repairs, new tools, and equipment modifications
- Ensure adherence to environment, health, and safety standards on the shop floor
- Collaborate with various departments to prioritize and execute work orders

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience in a technical or manufacturing role, preferably in the aerospace industry
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address production challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
