We are recruiting experienced Plater/ fabricators for our client based in Rotherham S61

This is a temporary to permanent position working Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm and Friday 7am to 1pm (40 hrs).

Paying £16.00 per hour for regular hours and £24 per hour after 40 hours worked.

The role requires previous experience in a heavy engineering workshop environment.

Duties will include-

* Fabrication, working to engineering drawings

* Using hand tools and bandsaws to cut steel plate to specification

* Assembling steel pieces ready for welding

* Drilling using handheld and pillar drills

* Use of overhead cranes to move large steel pieces into place

* Good housekeeping to maintain a tidy and safe work area
