Behaviour Support Manager

An outstanding Secondary School in Brent are looking to secure a Behaviour Support Manager to start in September 2025 on an ongoing assignment.

The school

This secondary school is a non-selective school specialising in mathematics and citizenship that serves children of all abilities. Their commitment is to know every pupil as an individual, and to foster the principles of team spirit, responsibility and care for others. Their buildings were designed by award winning architects and are organised to support calm and ordered learning. Pupils have access to specialist indoor and outdoor sports facilities, excellent science and ICT facilities, music, Design and Technology, art and drama studios and a 150 sqm, well-stocked and up-to-date library as well as inviting and well-equipped classroom.

Behaviour Support Manager role

The role is to support and assist with the internal exclusion unit and the reflection room and ensure that students are well behaved, take responsibility for their mistakes and engage with meaningful schoolwork. To support SAB and the senior pastoral team with key behaviour support across the academy.

Support the academy's values and ethos by contributing to the development and implementation of policies, practices and procedures
Develop and support with the necessary procedures and environment so that the Internal Exclusion unit is a place of learning and reflection for any pupil who is sent there
To help maintain and establish pupil discipline across the whole academy
To contribute to the effective working of the academy
To display professionalism at all times, leading by example The successful candidate must have previous expereince within a pastoral/behaviour setting role to be considered for this role.
