The Opportunity:

A welcoming and high-performing primary school in Bexley is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their team in September 2025. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in Year 3, ensuring the Key Stage 2 curriculum is delivered effectively and inclusively.

Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing detailed feedback to both students and parents while adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.

Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes high standards of behaviour, engagement, and independent learning.

*

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery, contributing to planning and school-wide initiatives.

*

Build strong relationships with parents, ensuring open communication and supporting their involvement in their child's educational journey.

*

Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities, events, and professional development opportunities.

Person Specification:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

*

A solid understanding of the Year 3 curriculum, with the ability to deliver a diverse and engaging learning experience.

*

Proven ability to assess and track pupil progress, using data to adjust teaching and meet the needs of all learners.

*

Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to create an inclusive and respectful learning environment.

*

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

*

A commitment to professional development and a passion for teaching that encourages students to reach their full potential.
