Description

Heat Pump Engineer required for our client, they are long established renewable energy, plumbing, and heating company, with over 80 years in business and a brilliant local reputation. They employ over 30 members of staff and are currently looking to add an additional Heat Pump Engineer to their service, repair, and commissioning division. They will require the engineer to travel throughout areas such as Newcastle, Carlisle, Middlesbrough, North Pennines, Otterburn, and surrounding areas.

Our client will consider either electrical / electrician or gas / plumbing biased applicants.

Heat Pump Engineer Responsibilities
- Service and repair of air source heat pumps
- Attending breakdowns of heat pump systems
- Attending private residential sites
- Commissioning of newly installed heat pump systems
- Providing technical support to the wider engineering team
- Working on manufactures such as Daikin, Mitsubishi, Nibe, Grant, Viessmann etc.

Heat Pump Engineer Requirements
- Previous experience in service and repair of heat pump systems
- Hold formal heat pump qualifications such as BPEC Level 3 (Desirable)
- Either gas or electrical / electrician bias holding qualifications such as 18th edition, Gold Card, or domestic gas certification.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Based within a commutable distance of Hexham

Heat Pump Engineer Remuneration
- Salary £42,000 - £50,000
- 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
