Description

SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time
📍 Near Leamington Spa
💰 Permanent Role – Competitive Pay
🕒 Full-Time | ASAP Start

This isn’t about doing the bare minimum - it’s about making a real impact.

We’re working with a community-focused primary school near Leamington Spa that places creativity, wellbeing, and independence at the heart of learning. With fantastic outdoor spaces and a strong commitment to child-led education, it’s a place where both staff and students are encouraged to thrive.

🎓 Are you a graduate looking to make a difference?
This role is perfect for recent graduates in Child Psychology, Education, Social Work, Youth Studies, or similar fields – or for those with a Level 3+ qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning, Childcare, or SEND. It’s a brilliant opportunity to apply your knowledge in a nurturing, real-world setting.

The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who’s passionate about supporting children with SEND needs (Autism, ADHD, SCLN, SEMH) and helping them shine in an inclusive environment.

🧠 The Role
You’ll work across the school, supporting children through hands-on, play-based learning. Rather than only working 1:1, you’ll be part of a team engaging with the whole class – helping children build relationships, grow in confidence, and develop essential life skills.

👥 Why You'll Love It Here
This is a school that genuinely cares about staff wellbeing. The team is tight-knit, supportive, and full of personality – think games, quizzes, even their own version of Traitors during staff meetings. You’ll be surrounded by like-minded people who believe in doing work that really matters.

✅ What They’re Looking For

*

A degree in Child Psychology, Education, Youth Studies, Social Work – or a Level 3+ qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning, Childcare, or SEND

*

Passion for supporting children with SEND (Autism, SCLN, ADHD, SEMH) across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

*

A positive, proactive, and resilient attitude

*

A team player with great energy

*

Recent experience supporting children (in schools or similar settings)

This is a permanent, full-time role, starting on a temporary basis while checks are completed. The school is ready to hire as soon as they meet the right person.
