Our Legal 500 client is seeking a forward-thinking and competent Private Client Solicitor or CILEX to join their team, which consists of two Fee Earners and a Paralegal. This role offers free parking, flexile hybrid working, pension scheme, death in service and will give you the opportunity to make a significant impact and further enhance the department. 

The private client team is renowned for delivering the highest level of client care, ensuring that every client’s needs are met with professionalism and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private client work, including wills, trusts, probate, and estate planning. Additionally, you should demonstrate excellent business development and marketing skills to promote the firm’s ClienPrivatet services effectively.

While STEP qualification experience is beneficial, it is not essential. If you are interested in obtaining this qualification, the firm is willing to provide support. What will be expected of you as a Private Client Lawyer?

Manage a diverse caseload and advise clients on a range of private client matters, including wills, trusts, and estate planning.
Draft legal documents such as wills, powers of attorney, and trust deeds.
Oversee the administration of estates, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service.
Stay up to date with legislative changes affecting private client matters.
Collaborate with professionals such as financial advisers and accountants to offer comprehensive client advice.
Is this Private Client Lawyer position for you?
Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, estate administration, and trusts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to foster client relationships.
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in legal documentation and compliance.
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Empathy and sensitivity when handling delicate client situations.
Strong organisational skills for effective case management.
A proactive approach to business development and networking.
