My client is a firm of transport planners and traffic engineers that provide development planning services to a wide variety of private and public sector clients.
They are based in central Guildford and operate throughout the UK. They offer a wide range of highway and transportation services from initial feasibility studies to supporting development sites through the planning process. They provide trusted advice and are experienced in successfully working with other disciplines to identify integrated and cost-effective solutions. They have a positive and personal approach to help ensure the delivery of projects whether large or small and have extensive experience in residential, commercial, retail, sports, leisure, education and tourist related development.
The company are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Transport Planner to join their team.  You would be based in the Guildford office, with the option to work from home part of the week.
You would be expected to carry out all duties normally associated with employment in this position, in particular the preparation of technical documents (Access Feasibility, Transport Statements, Transport Assessments), site visits, transport modelling (Junctions9 and LinSig), as well as managing and mentoring junior staff.
 
In addition, you may be required to carry out such alternative or additional duties as the Company may from time to time reasonably require
