BIM Manager

Location: London
Salary: £50k - £55k 

A leading architectural practice is seeking a BIM Manager to lead the strategic implementation and management of BIM processes across all projects. This role involves overseeing standards (including ISO 19650 compliance), supporting project teams, driving digital innovation, and acting as the primary BIM contact internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain BIM strategy, templates, protocols, and standards
Lead ISO 19650 compliance, including certification audits and documentation
Manage and support BIM deliverables (BEPs, EIRs, AIRs), liaising with clients and consultants
Oversee model management, clash detection, and quality control
Collaborate with IT to manage BIM software integration and updates
Support project teams in setup, modelling strategies, and Revit problem-solving
Deliver training, monitor skills, and support onboarding of new staff
Research new digital tools and promote BIM innovation across the practice
Requirements

Architectural degree or equivalent
5+ years in a BIM Manager or similar role within architecture
Expert knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Solibri, and BIM 360
Strong understanding of ISO 19650 and BIM documentation
Experience in scripting (e.g. Dynamo) and automation is desirable
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to lead, train, and support teams on BIM processes
