Our client is a long-established contractor specialising in plastering, dry lining, and rendering services for both residential and commercial projects across the North West. With over two decades of expertise, they're known for delivering high-quality finishes and building lasting relationships with their clients.

The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, gain hands-on project experience, and grow your career within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with preparing and managing project budgets

Help produce accurate cost estimates and valuations

Support tender preparation and subcontractor comparisons

Contribute to contract administration and document control

Monitor site progress and help track project costs and variations

Liaise with suppliers, clients, and site teams

Support senior surveyors with reporting and commercial planning

What We're Looking For:

1-3 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role or a recent graduate with relevant placement experience

Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management

Basic understanding of JCT contracts and cost control

Strong communication and organisational skills

Proficiency in Excel and estimating software

Willingness to learn and grow within the role

Full UK driving licence preferred
