8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday (Possible Hybrid Options)

Senior Product Design Engineer required for an award-winning manufacturer. The role will suit product designers looking to hold a lead position in a friendly and transparent workplace.

To apply for the role, you need design for manufacture experience along with 3D SolidWorks within extrusion, plastics, injections moulding or similar. You need to successfully manage projects from beginning to completion ensuring all parties are fully communicated with. Ideally the successful candidate will have leadership and mentoring skills however those confident in their ability to lead a small team will be considered.

The role is hands on design and project management role of extrusion products whilst leading a small team. You will oversee 2-3 projects at any one time ensuring they are on time and to specification. You will drive improvements, guide the team and ensure all design for manufacture processes are completed.

The role will suit those looking to be part of a driven team in a role where you can add value.

The Senior Product Design Engineer Role:

• 2D and 3D product design
• Project management
• Prototyping
• Leadership and mentoring of a small team

The Person Required:

• Product design experience
• 3D SolidWorks
• Design for manufacture
• Project Management experience
• Prototype experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Have leadership/mentoring skills or willing to do this
