Description

An engaging and forward-thinking school in Farnborough is seeking a talented Art Teacher to join their creative arts department from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent post and is ideal for a newly qualified or experienced Art Teacher who values innovation and expression in the classroom.

The Art Teacher will benefit from excellent facilities, including a specialist art studio, kiln room, and digital design suite. The school places high value on creativity and the development of individual voice through visual arts.

As a Art Teacher, you will:

Teach Art and Design across KS3 and KS4, with A-Level teaching for suitable candidates

*

Create a curriculum that explores a range of materials, methods, and themes

*

Guide students through coursework and exam preparation with constructive feedback

*

Exhibit student work and build a strong portfolio of creative outcomes

*

Support whole-school events, art clubs, and external gallery visits

*

Collaborate with colleagues in the creative arts faculty

The successful Art Teacher will:

Hold QTS and a relevant degree in Art or Design

*

Demonstrate a strong portfolio of personal work or teaching practice

*

Be passionate about nurturing student talent and creativity

*

Show the ability to inspire, engage, and stretch learners of all abilities
