Company Overview
Our client is a high-growth engineering business providing end-to-end full turnkey infrastructure into Fibre, Renewables, and emerging Data Centres across the UK and mainland Europe.
 
The Role
This is a pivotal hire for the business. Reporting into senior leadership, the Commercial Manager will own the financial and contractual strategy across projects – particularly in the fibre and renewable sectors. You'll play a key role in scaling UK and Europe operations.
 
Key Responsibilities

Lead commercial activities across fibre and renewable infrastructure projects
Manage NEC contracts, ensuring compliance, profitability, and risk control
Own project pricing and budgeting from tender through to final delivery
Build and lead a UK commercial team
Develop and implement scalable processes to support growth
Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams
Support the business as it expands into new sectors like data centres  
Ideal Candidate

Strong experience with NEC contracts and infrastructure projects (fibre or solar preferred)
Commercially minded with a background in pricing, contract management, and project delivery
Confident in building and improving systems and processes
A natural leader — comfortable stepping up, building teams, and taking ownership
Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and keen to grow into a Director-level role
Adaptable and collaborative, with the ability to work across UK and European operations
