Class 2 HIAB Driver

HireGiant are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB driver to join a highly respected building materials distributor based in Shipston-on-Stour. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable Class 2 HIAB driver to secure a temp-to-perm position, with consistent Monday to Friday work and great long-term prospects.

As a Class 2 HIAB driver, you will be responsible for completing deliveries of construction and landscaping materials using an 18-tonne vehicle fitted with a manual or remote HIAB. You’ll be making between 8 to 12 deliveries per day to a mix of trade and residential locations within the local and surrounding areas.

Start times are typically around 07:30, with finishing times around 16:00, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. The work is consistent and well-structured, perfect for a professional Class 2 HIAB driver looking for stability. While experience is preferred, new passes with a valid HIAB licence are encouraged to apply.

Requirements for this role:

The Class 2 HIAB driver will require:

Valid HIAB certification

*

Cat C entitlement on licence (LGV 2 / HGV2)

*

Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card

*

Safety boots & high-vis vest

Working Hours:

*

Monday to Friday

*

07:30 – 16:00

*

Temp to perm opportunity

*

45–50 hours per week on average

Pay:

*

£16.00 – £17.00 per hour PAYE
