1-Year Fixed Term Contract (4 days/week)

Are you a passionate Health & Social Care Teacher seeking a part-time opportunity in a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school?

We are working with a well-respected secondary school in Basildon that is looking to appoint a Health & Social Care Teacher on a 0.8 timetable from September 2025. This is a fixed-term contract for one academic year with the potential for extension.

🔹 The Role:

*

Teaching Health & Social Care to KS4 and KS5

*

Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons

*

Working 4 days per week (0.8 timetable)

*

Supporting students’ personal development and subject understanding

The Ideal Candidate:

*

Holds QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

*

Has recent experience teaching Health & Social Care, preferably up to KS5

*

Has a strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management

*

Enthusiastic, reliable, and ready to contribute to a dynamic team
