Field Service Engineer – Nationwide Service Provider – South Wales / Bristol / Gloucester / North Somerset – Salary £27,000 - £30,000 + door to door + on-call + overtime = £40k - £50k +++ Company Van + Tools + Pension + Workwear + Training.

After an initial period of on-the-job training as Field Service Engineer you will carry out both planned and unplanned breakdown repair service to the customer based throughout South Wales, Bristol, Gloucestershire, North Somerset and parts of Wiltshire and will be part of the on-call rota which consists of 1-2 nights per week and 1 weekend in every 5.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will ideally be qualified to NVQ level or equivalent in mechanical engineering, vehicle mechanics, plant machinery or a related subject; be comfortable using mechanical hand tools and ideally have some experience of servicing, repairing or maintaining mechanical equipment, machinery, vehicles or plant.

A basic understanding of hydraulics and fault finding on 12 & 24-volt electrics an advantage
