Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Wincanton who are actively looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:

Mechanical service, repair, replacement of: Motors, gearboxes, couplings, seals, pumps, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.
Electrical service, repair, replacement of: Motors, sensors, valves, control gear, VSDs, servos, instrumentation, power distribution systems, safety systems etc.
Evaluate and improve the installations and to increase plant availability, quality and safety.What you will need to succeed:

Previous experience working in FMCG and Packaging machinery
Understanding of Electrical & Mechanical schematics diagrams.
Knowledge of different types of maintenance methodology; PPM, CBM, PM, TBM
Recognised engineering apprenticeship or HNC/HND in Engineering with 5 years minimum experience in a reactive production environment.What you will receive in return:

£44,933.20 per annum + company bonus
Weekend overtime available
Monday - Thursday 6-2 & 2-10, Friday 6-1 & 1-8 (39 hours)
