Technical Manager

FTC 6 Months contract

£50,000 per annum

5 days onsite Near to Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire

Henderson Brown are partnered with a leading fresh produce organisation for this exciting opportunity. A chance to build credibility and experience in one of the UK's leading fresh produce operations. This is a 6 month fixed term contract to cover a secondment and temporary move for the incumbent Technical Manager to support with ongoing projects.

As a Technical Manager you will manage the day to day food safety and standards onsite. To make sure the site is audit ready and compliant with British standards.

Technical Manager duties

Responsibility for the daily activities around food safety and compliance.
Act as a point of contact for the Quality/Technical/Operations team.
Perform Internal audits.
Ensure quality standards are continually met.
Monitor product quality assessments against product specifications.
Positively promote a culture of hygiene and housekeeping.
Environmental testing and swabbing.Technical Manager Qualifications and Skills

Industry recognised qualifications within food technology.
HACCP level 3.
Food safety level 3.
4 years experience at Technical Manager level.
Internal Auditor qualification.
