RE Teacher

Location: Hammersmith & Fulham

An enriching opportunity has arisen for a thoughtful RE Teacher to join a diverse and reflective school in Hammersmith & Fulham. The successful candidate will guide students in exploring a broad spectrum of religious, philosophical, and ethical concepts, fostering critical thinking and empathetic understanding of diverse worldviews. This role is ideal for an educator passionate about fostering respectful dialogue and intellectual curiosity.

The Role

The RE Teacher will:

* Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3-5, encompassing world religions, ethical dilemmas, and philosophical inquiry, including GCSE and A-Level.

* Encourage open discussion and debate on complex moral and spiritual questions.

* Cultivate an appreciation for the role of religion and belief in society.

* Contribute to departmental activities, including interfaith dialogues and community outreach programmes.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a qualified RE Teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) who:

* Possesses a strong passion for Religious Education and its capacity to broaden perspectives.

* Is skilled at facilitating sensitive discussions and fostering intellectual curiosity.

* Demonstrates a proven ability to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

* Is a collaborative and open-minded professional.
