Link3 Recruitment is a specialist education agency connecting talented professionals with rewarding school roles across the UK. We are currently recruiting Qualified SEN Teachers for roles in specialist and inclusive SEN schools throughout Staffordshire. These schools support children with a range of additional needs, including ASC, SEMH, MLD, PMLD, and complex needs.

The Role
We are seeking experienced & dedicated SEN Teachers to deliver personalised, high-quality teaching in supportive SEN environments. You will plan & deliver differentiated lessons, support pupils’ emotional & social development, and work collaboratively with school staff, therapists, and parents.

Key Responsibilities

Plan & teach tailored lessons based on individual needs and EHCPs.

Support academic, emotional, and personal progress of pupils.

Use tools like PECS, Makaton, or visual aids to aid communication and engagement.

Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom.

Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and external agencies.

Maintain pupil records & contribute to formal reviews and assessments.

Requirements

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with relevant teaching qualifications.

Minimum 1–2 years of experience, ideally in SEN, PRU, or inclusive settings.

Confident managing a range of additional needs (ASC, SEMH, MLD/PMLD).

Strong understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management.

Excellent communication, adaptability, and teamwork.

DBS Checks
All applicants must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check (Child Workforce). If not registered on the Update Service, a new DBS will be required. Applicants may be asked to cover the cost of the check. Link3 Recruitment is committed to safeguarding & promoting the welfare of children & young people.

To be considered for higher pay rates, candidates should demonstrate:

Extensive SEN teaching experience and successful outcomes.

Previous leadership roles (e.g. SENCO, subject/phase leader).

Evidence of continued SEN-related CPD (e.g. Team Teach, Autism Education Trust training).
