Description

Position : Project Engineer, Technical Project Manager

Location : Cheshire

Salary : £40,000-£55,000

Sector : Project engineering, mechanical and electrical,

Driving licence : Full UK driving licence is essential

Visa : No, you MUST have the right to live and work in the UK

Suitable for new graduate : No, professional experience in an engineering environment is essential

The role :

Supporting sales with technical input
Providing designs, costs, bills of materials
Oversee production, manufacturing and installation
Co-ordinate with customers through the lifecycle of the project
Manage associated project documentation including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Test Procedures, Bill of Materials
Travel to customer sites will be essential. This may entail overnight stays.

Your knowledge and experience :

Formal qualification in engineering - mechanical, electrical, chemical or project management
CAD (any package)
P&ID drawings
Basic understanding of PLC systems and 24V control systems
Pipework design
Understanding of ATEX and the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED)
Knowledge of Gases and their properties beneficial
MS Project experience beneficial
