Description

A passionate and talented Music Teacher is required at a creative and inclusive secondary school in Bracknell. This full-time, permanent position begins in September 2025 and offers a unique chance to teach Music in a school that places the arts at the heart of student development.

The Music Teacher will join a vibrant department that regularly hosts concerts, workshops, and performances. The school has purpose-built Music rooms, a recording studio, and a culture of encouraging students to participate in extracurricular music.

As a Music Teacher, you will:

Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for KS5 depending on experience

*

Deliver lessons in performance, composition, and music theory

*

Inspire students to express themselves through a variety of musical genres

*

Prepare students for GCSE and/or BTEC Music qualifications

*

Organise school performances, ensembles, and musical events

*

Collaborate with the drama and art departments for cross-curricular projects

*

Encourage student participation in instrumental tuition and singing

The ideal Music Teacher will:

Hold QTS and a Music-related degree

*

Be confident in teaching diverse musical genres and techniques

*

Possess strong classroom management and lesson planning skills

*

Show a deep passion for music and developing young musicians
