Description

A profitable distributor of raw materials requires an additional Maintenance Engineer to provide support to the Engineering function in the overhaul and repair of machines. The ideal candidate will be NVQ level 3 qualified in electrical and be able to fault find on Siemens PLCs.

Commutable from: West Bromwich, Oldbury, Walsall, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Wolverhampton, Telford

Package: £47,840 p.a. +15% shift allowance (£55,016 p.a.) + 7/9% scaled pension scheme + Medical cash plan + up to 9% Bonus + 27 days holiday plus statutory

Working Hours: 2 shift pattern earlies and lates

The Role

Reporting into the Operations Manager you will have the following duties:

-Carry out routine maintenance activities.
-Ensure all inspection work is scheduled and undertaken.
-Maintain the electrical systems within the facility.
-Test Electrical installations including Siemens S7 maintenance.

The Person

Educated to NVQ Level 3 you will have the following experience:

-PLC Knowledge
-Experience in equipment controls such as valves, pumps, pressure sensors, temperature sensors, emergency cut off valves and level detection sensors.
-Previous experience with pressure systems.
-Welding, pipe fabrication and fitting and grinding.
