SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Romford
Location: Romford, East London
Start Date: September 2025

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)?
We’re working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Romford looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.

About the Role:
✅ Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
✅ Assist the class teacher in adapting lessons and materials to suit individual learning needs
✅ Foster a positive, nurturing environment that encourages progress and independence
✅ Help track pupil development and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents
✅ Uphold safeguarding standards and promote inclusive education practices

The Ideal Candidate:
✔️ Previous experience working with children with SEN in a primary setting
✔️ Calm, patient, and adaptable with strong communication skills
✔️ Confident supporting pupils with EHCPs and individual behaviour strategies
✔️ Holds an Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) or willing to apply
✔️ Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (desirable, not essential)
