Vehicle Technician
Location: Kenilworth
Salary: £35,000 per annum

Are you a skilled Vehicle Technician with a passion for classic and vintage vehicles? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established mechanical workshop in Kenilworth that specialises in the restoration of historic cars, dating from 1920 to 1967.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a dedicated team of professionals in a fully equipped workshop, featuring both engine and chassis dynamometers. The company is known for its exceptional craftsmanship and is seeking a Vehicle Technician who shares the same commitment to quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities for the Vehicle Technician role include:

Diagnose and repair classic petrol engines, including carburettor fuel systems and distributor ignition systems
Fault-finding and troubleshooting on traditional vehicles
Engine rebuilding and restoration
Work with traditional electrical, transmission, braking, and suspension systems
Apply sound engineering judgment to resolve technical issues
Collaborate with fellow Vehicle Technicians to ensure workshop efficiency and excellenceRequirements:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally with a background in classic vehicle restoration
Strong understanding of carburettor systems, traditional ignition, and petrol engine mechanics
Hands-on experience in engine rebuilding and diagnosing faults in vintage vehicles
A detail-oriented Vehicle Technician who takes pride in high standards of work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team of professional Vehicle TechniciansWhat’s on offer for the right Vehicle Technician:

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
28 days of annual leave
