Description

A heavy engineering labourer is required as soon as possible for our long-standing client. This company is forward thinking and there is progression for the right person. You will be working within a friendly team in a well organised environment.

Summary

As a Labourer in Heavy Engineering, you will be an essential part of our team, contributing large-scale engineering projects. Reporting to the site supervisor, your core responsibilities will include assisting in workshop preparation, and ensuring safety compliance. Your premium skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and equipment operation will be vital. Additionally, relevant skills in manual labor, basic maintenance, and safety protocols will enhance your effectiveness in this physically demanding role.

Responsibilities

* Operate various hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

* Operate a forklift

* Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.

* Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.

* Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

You must have a valid and up to date forklift license and some overhead crane experience.

Based at Scunthorpe in a workshop environment.

Permanent position

38 hours per week, day shifts with an early finish on a Friday.

You will ideally have worked in an engineering environment for at least 5 years
