Position Overview:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Tower Hamlets, you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils in classrooms, guiding their learning and progress in key academic areas.

Compensation and Commitment:

This role offers a competitive daily rate ranging from £88.95 to £104.71, with a commitment for at least one full academic term. This gives you ample time to consider commencing teacher training in the following year, if desired.

Responsibilities:

As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Providing ongoing support to classroom teachers
Conducting one-to-one or small group sessions with students
Delivering tuition and booster sessions for pupils with varying abilities or EHC Plans
Facilitating reading sessions and supporting numeracy and literacy learningQualifications and Attributes:

To excel in this role, you should have:

A Bachelor's Degree
Demonstrable experience working with students (e.g., Youth Work, Teaching Assistant, University Ambassador, Graduate Tutor, etc.)
A fervent desire to work within an educational setting
Ambition, combined with a warm, outgoing, and strong personality
