Job Title: SEN Teacher

Location: Southampton
Contract: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent and Permanent considered (September 2025 Start)
Key Stages: KS2, KS3, KS4

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join an SEN school in September. You'll be working with students from KS2 to KS4 delivering a curriculum tailored to meet the needs of learners with Special Educational Needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for either a primary-trained or secondary-trained teacher looking to make a meaningful difference in a specialist setting. We warmly welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to develop their skills within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.

Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including SENCOs, therapists, and support staff.

Foster positive relationships with students, families and carers.

Contribute to the wider life of the school, including pastoral support and enrichment activities.

About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Primary or Secondary trained.

Experience of, or a strong interest in, working with students with SEND (including ASC, MLD, SEMH, and complex needs).

A nurturing, patient, and resilient approach.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Commitment to ongoing professional development.
