SHUTTERING CARPENTER

VGC Group are looking for experienced Shuttering Carpenter to start on a project in Manchester area

Role: Shuttering Carpenter

Location: SK14 6NG

Salary: £19.26 Per Hour PAYE

Qualifications: Blue CSCS NVQ Level 2 in Formwork

Shuttering Carpenter – Highways Project

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
Build and assemble formwork for concrete structures.
Position and secure formwork using tools like hammers, nails, and braces.
Install and tie steel reinforcement (rebar) as needed.
Collaborate with concrete workers, steel fixers, and site supervisors.
Safely dismantle formwork once concrete has cured.
You will accrue holiday entitlement and be eligible to join the VGC pension scheme once certain criteria have been met.
