Job Title: Production Engineer - CAD/CAM Programmer
Location: Wokingham
Salary: £20 - £22 per hour (37.5 hrs/week) + Overtime Available
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm

My client is a well-established precision engineering company serving a wide range of industries, known for their quality, innovation, and expertise. We're now looking to strengthen the team with a skilled Production Engineer who brings both hands-on machining experience and strong CAD/CAM programming capabilities.

About the Role:
This is a varied and hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys both technical programming and practical shop floor work. Your main responsibilities will include:
Offline programming of new jobs using CAD/CAM software (preferably HyperMILL or similar)
Working with 5-axis CNC milling machines
Setting and operating CNC milling machines as needed
Supporting general production activities on the shop floor

What We're Looking For:
Proficiency in offline CAD/CAM programming (Hypermill experience preferred, but training available for similar software)
Experience with 5-axis CNC milling machines
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small, skilled team
A proactive attitude and willingness to help with varied tasks across the workshop

What We Offer:
Competitive hourly rate of £20 - £22 per hour
Core working hours of 8:00am - 3:30pm (37.5 hours/week)
Overtime opportunities available
